Hi, I’m Ashley!
I love to make healthy taste delicious. I think about food all day, every day. I’d call myself a health foodie.
I specialize in plant-based, anti-inflammatory, oil-free, and mostly gluten-free recipes. My perspective on health is a unique mish mash of western healthcare (I spent over 10 years as a pharmacist), alternative medicine (I’m a registered holistic nutritionist), and personal experience (I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 23).
When I turned 30, I dropped everything and attended culinary school in NYC — because it dawned on me that food (and sharing its connection to health) was my calling. I’ve written two cookbooks (Plant-Based Delicious and The Plant-Based Cookbook — a bestseller!).
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with food photography and now try to capture my creations whenever I can.
Right now, I’m in a busy, beautiful, time-strapped chapter of life — raising two young boys while still trying to eat well myself. That’s what inspired my new series: Crumbs.
