Hi foodies, I’m Ashley!

I love to make healthy taste delicious. I think that sums it up. I think about food all day every day. I’d call myself a health foodie.

I specialize in plant-based, anti-inflammatory, oil-free and mostly gluten-free recipes. My perspective on health is a unique mishmash of western healthcare (I spent 10 + years as a pharmacist), alternative medicine (I’m a registered holistic nutritionist), and personal experience (I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 23).

I dropped everything and attended culinary school in NYC when I turned 30 because it dawned on me that food (and sharing its connection to health) was my calling. I’ve written 2 cookbooks (Plant-Based Delicious and The Plant-Based Cookbook– best seller!) and my recipes are featured in Forks Over Knives and Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine meal plans.

My heart was stolen by food photography somewhere along the way and I dabble in (or rather devout hours upon hours to) capturing my creations whenever I can.
