Great question Jo! You’d have to remove the banana and cinnamon. I’m thinking more soy milk and skipping the blending altogether would be the way to go. I have a savoury pancake from somewhere back when! I’ll look for it ❤️😘
Great question Jo! You can use the liquid from a jar of pickles too. Or you can omit it altogether and add a tablespoon of water (this is just to help dissolve the miso). It will still be great! If you like it really citrusy, use another tablespoon of lemon juice. It’s very flexible!
I also wonder if it would work, to add capers into the marinade, as I’m addicted to them?
Capers would be fabulous in this! Go for it! I’d do two tablespoons!

You can definitely toast it Dana! The bright flavours won’t be as prominent but I think still delicious❤️
