Hi Ashley, I recently made your almond cacao crumble and I might have cheated and used almond flour 🥴 Unfortunately, I am now left with a large amount of very powdery, not very crunchy topping mix. I’m sorry for not following your recipe properly, but do you by chance have any tips for either making it more crunchy and crumbly, or can I turn it into something else ?
Hi Dana! I do this all the time. I stray from a recipe and it doesn't work out exactly how I hoped. Good on you for trying to make it work with what you had! Ok so I think you could add all the crumble to a baked good. I might mix it in with a muffin mix or into a brownie batter. You could also add it to the crust of a vegan cheesecake (like the mint chocolate ice cream cheesecake in Plant-Based Delicious). Just reduce the oats by like 1/4 cup. You might need to add a little extra moisture if it's too dry. The other think I might try is adding all the crumble to a food processor with a cup of dates and processing it and then rolling it into bliss balls! And finally, I would try adding it to a baked granola. I might even try it with the Almond Cranberry Granola that's there in the Rise Shine Cook archive. Again, reduce the oats, maybe by 1/2 cup! I hope there is a suitable solution in here :)
Chocolate cheesecake turned out fabulous, even my picky omnivore chocoholic loved it. I was also a little intimidated by vegan cheesecake, but not anymore! Thank you Ashley for holding my hand 🤩
I bought extra bananas this week, to make this recipe again, but they were not ripe enough. I’ve been waiting patiently all week, whilst my husband has been taking two bananas to work every day, but finally made it again this morning 🥰 I’ve layered it with cherries and blueberries and can’t wait for tea time! I’m also making your kale pesto pasta 😋. What is this witchery you perform Ashley? Do you know that not so long ago you might have been burned at the stake?? 🥦🍅❤️
Just made this pudding and I have to admit I was not sure I would like it, due to the banana content. I am so surprised and very happy that I hardly noticed any banana! Just creamy, chocolatey goodness. I layered mine with cherries and my husband’s with strawberries. Total thumbs up! If anyone else is sceptical, just try it, I did add a tiny bit of maple syrup, but I’m not a complete chocoholic 🥰😋🥰

Thanks Dana! I love this feedback! I also wasn't sure if the banana profile would work out but we love it too :)
